What to expect on the way
The price is the same from every Fylde Coast town. For local pickup notes and journey times, see transfers from Lytham St Annes, Poulton-le-Fylde, Fleetwood and Thornton-Cleveleys, Kirkham and Preston.
Around an hour
About 60 miles via the M55, M6, M61 and M60. Allow 60 to 75 minutes off-peak and longer on weekday mornings around the M60.
Straight to your terminal
Tell us your terminal when you book. We drop you outside departures, so there is no transfer bus from a car park.
Drop-off charge included
Manchester charges vehicles to drop off and pick up. That cost is already in your price.
When should we collect you?
For a European flight we usually collect you around three and a half hours before departure: an hour on the road, a buffer for the M60, and the two hours most airlines ask for at check-in. For long-haul, add another half hour. We will suggest a time when we confirm your booking, and you can always ask for earlier.
Early-morning departures are the most popular slot from the Fylde Coast. A 06:00 flight means a 02:30 pickup, and those dates fill up first, so book as soon as your flights are confirmed.

Landing at Manchester
We follow your flight from the moment it takes off. If it lands early, we are there early; if it is delayed, we move your pickup to match at no extra charge.
When we confirm your booking we agree where to meet, and your driver messages you when they are there. Take your time through passport control and baggage reclaim. You will be back on the M56 heading home without hunting for a taxi rank or a car park ticket machine.
- Add your inbound flight number when you book.
- Your phone number is how the driver reaches you, so keep it on after landing.
Compared with driving and parking
For a week away, a transfer often costs about the same as parking, without the drive home after a long flight. We have written up a fuller comparison.
Nobody drives tired
After a red-eye home, the last thing anyone wants is 60 miles of motorway.
No shuttle buses
Off-site car parks add a bus each way. We drop you at the terminal door.
Up to four of you
One price covers the whole group, so splitting it is cheaper than it looks.
