Version 2. These terms applied to bookings accepted from 16/10/2026 until version 3 took effect. Current terms
These terms, including our Booking, Payment, Changes and Cancellation Policy (sections 2 to 11), apply to every journey we confirm. Please read them before you book. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

About EV Exec
EV Exec is a sole trader and licensed private hire operator providing premium airport transfers and private hire from Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. We are fully licensed, insured and enhanced DBS checked.
Every booking is a contract with EV Exec. You can contact us at:
- Email: book@evexec.co.uk
- Phone: 07721 070370
- WhatsApp: Message us directly
In these terms, “you” means the person or organisation that makes the booking (the Booker). If you book for someone else, such as a family member, a colleague, a client, a guest or an event attendee, you remain the Booker and are responsible for the booking, payment and any charges under these terms.
Some clauses apply differently to consumers (individuals booking mainly for personal purposes) and business customers (companies, firms, sole traders and organisations booking for their business). A clause marked “business customers only” does not apply to consumers.
All times in these terms are UK local time (GMT or BST, whichever is in force on the day).
2
Booking & Confirmation
A request made on our website, by phone or by message is not yet a booking. We check availability and then confirm or decline it. We operate a small fleet, and availability is limited, particularly for early-morning airport runs.
Your booking becomes a binding contract when we confirm it in writing by email (or by WhatsApp or text if you have no email address). The confirmation shows the price and journey details.
Before we take a booking, we ask you to tick a box confirming you have read and accept these terms, either on the booking form or on your booking page before you pay. We keep a record of when you accepted them and which version. You can read, download or print these terms at any time on this page, and we will email you a copy on request.
Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if anything is wrong. We rely on the pickup address, date, time, flight number and passenger numbers you give us, and we are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect details.
If you have not received a confirmation within a reasonable time of your request, please contact us before assuming your booking is confirmed.
3
Pricing & Payment
All prices are fixed and include:
- Up to 4 passengers
- Standard luggage (see section 13)
- Live flight monitoring on all inbound transfers
- Airport drop-off and pickup charges
- All charging and running costs
- Any extra stops you booked
The price in your confirmation is the total price for the journey. It changes only if you change the booking (section 6), or if extra waiting or luggage charges apply that we agreed with you. Journeys starting outside our standard area, and other journeys not on our price list, are priced by individual quote before we confirm them.
Paying. You can pay by card through the secure payment link we send when we confirm your booking, by bank transfer, or in cash on the day of travel. For long-distance or high-value journeys we may ask for full or part payment in advance, as stated in your quote. We do not add any fee for paying by card.
If a cancellation charge applies and you have not paid yet, we will send you a payment link or invoice for the charge, payable within 14 days.
Business customers only. Where we agree to invoice you, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. We may charge statutory interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4
Cancelling Your Booking
To cancel, use any of these:
- The cancellation link in your booking request email
- Email book@evexec.co.uk
- WhatsApp or text 07721 070370
- Call 07721 070370
Please include your booking reference. A cancellation takes effect when we receive it: the time the link is used, or the time stamp of your email, message or call. We confirm every cancellation in writing, with any charge and refund shown.
Cancellation times are measured back from the scheduled pickup time in your confirmation. For a pickup from an airport, that is the scheduled landing time of the flight you gave us.
Cancellations by others on your behalf. If your passenger, guest, employee, client, employer, event organiser or anyone else you booked for cancels their plans or changes their mind, that is treated as a cancellation by you, and the same charges apply. We will have kept the car and driver free for your booking either way. EV Exec is not responsible for refunding a booking because someone else’s plans changed. This does not affect your rights where EV Exec is at fault or cannot provide the journey (sections 8 and 9).
5
Cancellation Charges
Standard bookings (airport transfers and private hire at our published prices, and quoted journeys that are not quoted bookings below):
| When we receive your cancellation | Charge | Refund of what you have paid |
|---|---|---|
| More than 48 hours before pickup | None | 100% |
| 24 to 48 hours before pickup | 25% of the price | 75% |
| 2 to 24 hours before pickup | 50% of the price | 50% |
| Less than 2 hours before pickup, or a no-show | 100% of the price | None |
Quoted bookings (journeys we price by individual quote rather than from our price list, such as long-distance journeys, event transfers and multi-car bookings, where the quoted price is over £300 or we hold the car for 4 hours or more):
| When we receive your cancellation | Charge |
|---|---|
| More than 7 days before pickup | None, unless your quote names a non-refundable cost we have paid for you (for example parking, a ferry or a driver’s overnight stay) |
| 72 hours to 7 days before pickup | 25% of the price |
| 24 to 72 hours before pickup | 50% of the price |
| Less than 24 hours before pickup, or a no-show | 100% of the price |
If your quote states a different schedule, the quote applies.
Why we charge. We take a small number of bookings for each car and time slot, many of them early-morning airport runs booked well in advance. Once we confirm your booking, we turn away other customers for that slot and plan the driver’s day around it. The closer to pickup you cancel, the less chance we have of filling the slot and the more of our costs are already committed. The charges are our honest estimate of that loss, after allowing for the costs we save, such as charging and tyre wear, when a journey does not go ahead.
If we re-book the slot. If you cancel inside a charging period and we take another paid booking that uses the same car and driver at the same time, we reduce or waive your charge by the amount we recover and refund you the difference.
No-shows. You are a no-show if, without contacting us, no passenger is ready within 15 minutes of the scheduled pickup time at an address, or no passenger has met the driver within 60 minutes of the flight’s actual landing time at an airport. Our driver will try to call and message the passenger and the Booker before leaving. If the passenger then contacts us and we can still provide the journey, we will, and waiting time may be charged under section 7.
Return bookings. Each leg of a return booking is treated separately. For cancellation charges, the return price is split equally between the two legs. If you cancel one leg and keep the other, the leg you keep is charged at our single-journey price for that route, less anything already paid for it.
Card processing fees. Consumers: we never deduct card or payment processing fees from a refund. Business customers only: if you paid with a commercial (corporate) card and cancel inside a charging period, we may deduct from your refund the processing fee our payment provider has kept, as shown on your receipt. We never deduct it from a refund that is due because EV Exec cancelled or could not provide the journey.
Our discretion. We may waive or reduce any charge, for example in cases of bereavement or serious illness. Doing so once does not oblige us to do so again.
6
Changes to Your Booking
Please ask for changes as early as possible, using the contact details in section 4. A change takes effect only when we confirm it in writing, and we will tell you any price difference or charge before you agree to it.
- Date or time, more than 48 hours before pickup: free, subject to availability.
- Date or time, less than 48 hours before pickup: we will try to help. If we can move the booking without losing other work, there is no charge. If we cannot, the change counts as a cancellation of the original booking under section 5 and a new booking at the current price.
- New date: a booking can be moved to a date within 12 months of the original pickup date.
- Addresses and stops: you can change a pickup or drop-off address, or add a stop, at any time before pickup if we can still provide the journey. The price is recalculated from our published prices (each extra stop is £5) or, for an address outside our standard area, from a new quote you accept before the change applies.
- Flight details: changes to your flight number, date or airport are free. Tell us as soon as you know. If a new flight means a new pickup date or time, the date and time rules above apply. If you give us wrong flight details, or do not tell us about a change, we are not responsible for the timing of the pickup, and waiting or no-show charges may apply.
- Passenger name: you can change the passenger named on the booking free of charge at any time before pickup. Please give us the new passenger’s name and mobile number. You remain responsible for the booking as the Booker.
- Repeated changes: the first two changes to a booking are free, apart from any price difference. For the third and later changes we may charge an administration fee of £10 per change, and we will tell you before you confirm the change. Changes we ask for, or that follow an airline changing your flight, never count towards this.
7
Waiting Time
Waiting is free for 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time at an address, and for 60 minutes after the actual landing time at an airport. Because we track inbound flights, a flight delay does not use up your free waiting time.
After the free period, waiting may be charged at a rate we agree with the passenger or with you before any charge is made. If waiting longer would make the driver late for another booking, we may need to leave, and the no-show rules in section 5 apply.
8
Flight Disruption & Severe Weather
Inbound flight cancelled or diverted by the airline. Tell us as soon as you can. We will move your pickup to your replacement flight free of charge if we have a car available. If we cannot, or you no longer need the transfer, we refund in full if the driver has not yet set off, and charge no more than 50% if the driver has already set off.
Outbound flight cancelled or rescheduled. We will move your pickup free of charge if you tell us more than 6 hours before pickup and we have a car available. Otherwise the charges in section 5 apply.
Severe weather and road closures. If the Met Office has issued a red weather warning for the route, or the police or National Highways have closed the route or advised against travel, you may cancel or move the booking without charge.
9
If We Have to Cancel or Change Your Booking
We may need to cancel or change a booking because of events outside our reasonable control, such as a vehicle breakdown or accident, sudden driver illness, severe weather, road closures, police instructions or a public emergency. We may also cancel if a passenger is likely to break the conduct rules in these terms, or if a payment we asked for in advance has not been made by its due date.
If this happens, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer, where possible, another of our cars and drivers, or a car and driver from a licensed private hire operator we work with, at no extra cost to you. Your contract stays with EV Exec.
If you do not want the replacement, or we cannot provide one, we refund everything you have paid for that journey in full, with no cancellation charge and no deduction for processing fees.
If we cancel for a reason within our control, or fail to arrive without good reason, we refund in full and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
We are not responsible for delays caused by things we cannot reasonably control or foresee, such as accidents or unplanned road closures, provided we have planned the journey with reasonable care, including a sensible allowance for normal traffic on the route.
10
Refunds
We pay refunds to the original payment method within 14 days of confirming the cancellation or the amount due. Card refunds can take a further 5–10 working days to appear, depending on your bank.
We show every charge and refund calculation in writing.
11
Business Customers
These terms, including sections 4 to 6, apply in full to business customers. The cancellation charges reflect our legitimate interest in keeping our cars and drivers available for confirmed work.
A cancellation by your client, delegate, employee or event organiser, or the cancellation of the event or meeting itself, is your cancellation.
We may agree a separate account or framework agreement with you. Where its terms differ from these terms, the agreement applies.
12
Passengers
Each of our vehicles can accommodate up to 4 passengers per journey. All passengers must wear a seatbelt at all times during travel, as required by UK law.
Children must be accommodated in accordance with UK child car seat regulations. If you are travelling with young children who require a child or booster seat, please inform us at the time of booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made where possible.
EV Exec reserves the right to refuse carriage to any passenger who:
- Is visibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs and poses a risk to themselves, the driver or the vehicle
- Is behaving in an aggressive, abusive or threatening manner
- Would cause the vehicle to exceed its legal passenger or weight capacity
In such circumstances, no refund will be provided.
13
Luggage
Our standard fare includes a reasonable amount of luggage suitable for air travel, typically up to 4 medium to large suitcases alongside cabin bags, depending on passenger numbers.
If you are travelling with excessive, oversized or unusual items (such as sports equipment, pushchairs or very large cases), please advise us at the time of booking so we can confirm availability and whether any additional charge applies.
Our driver will assist with loading and unloading luggage as a standard part of our service. However, EV Exec is not liable for any damage to, or loss of, luggage during transit. Passengers are advised to ensure valuable or fragile items are adequately insured.
14
Flight Monitoring & Delays
Live flight monitoring is included as standard on all inbound (From Airport) transfers. We track your incoming flight in real time and adjust your pickup accordingly, so you are never left waiting if your flight is early or delayed.
For outbound (To Airport) journeys, we work to ensure you are collected with sufficient time to reach your departure terminal. However, EV Exec cannot be held responsible for missed flights caused by:
- Traffic, road closures or accidents beyond our control
- The passenger not being ready at the agreed pickup time
- Incorrect departure information provided at the time of booking
- Exceptional or unforeseeable circumstances
We always recommend allowing adequate time before your flight. EV Exec will advise on suitable departure times, but the passenger is ultimately responsible for allowing appropriate time for check-in, security and boarding.
If your flight is significantly delayed on an inbound transfer, EV Exec will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate the revised schedule. Waiting time is covered in section 7, and cancelled or diverted flights in section 8.
15
Driver & Timing
Our driver will arrive at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time, or earlier. On inbound airport transfers, the driver will be present at the agreed meeting point as soon as reasonably possible after your flight has landed and you have cleared customs and baggage reclaim.
Please ensure you are ready at your pickup location at the agreed time. If you are not ready within 15 minutes of the agreed time and have not contacted us, EV Exec may treat the journey as a no-show (section 5). Please call or message us if you are running late.
EV Exec drivers will not use handheld mobile phones while driving in accordance with UK law. Communications from the driver will be made when safely parked or via a hands-free device only.
16
Liability
EV Exec holds full public liability and hire & reward insurance covering all passengers during transit. In the event of an incident during your journey, please inform the driver immediately.
EV Exec is not liable for:
- Losses caused by delays or cancellations beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, road incidents, extreme weather or third-party failures
- Missed flights, connections or hotel check-ins where EV Exec has fulfilled the agreed booking in good faith
- Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings or luggage during transit
- Any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from use of our service
Our total liability to any customer is limited to the value of the fare paid for the journey in question.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
17
Vehicle & Service Standards
EV Exec operates a fleet of electric vehicles (currently a Tesla Model Y, a Tesla Model Y Juniper and a Škoda Enyaq), each fully licensed, insured and maintained to a high standard. Every vehicle is presented clean and immaculate for every booking.
Passengers must not:
- Smoke or vape inside the vehicle
- Consume food or open drinks without prior agreement with the driver
- Damage, mark or soil the vehicle interior in any way
Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger during transit will be charged at the cost of repair or professional valeting, as appropriate. EV Exec reserves the right to recover such costs in full.
18
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if a journey is not carried out with reasonable care and skill. If any term is found to be unenforceable, the rest of these terms still apply.
19
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from a booking with EV Exec will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us in the first instance at book@evexec.co.uk or 07721 070370. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
20
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force when you accepted it. A later version applies to your booking only if you agree to it, for example when you change your booking.
Previous versions: Version 1 (bookings made before 16/10/2026).
